Mr. Boddington Studio

TWELVE YEARS, ONE DESK, THREE STUDIOS
Mr. Boddington blew out ten skinny, tapered gold candles illuminating his berry cake with a weary sigh. Birthdays nudge one to look back, so here is his tale:
The shocked nurse Pagent of the New Amsterdam Hospital nearly dropped the newly born Master Boddington on his head. She cried to her fellow midwives that this baby boy was born with
two purple ink-stained thumbs, a clear sign of the paper trade that would define his life's work.
As a child he moved around the world with his parents, his nanny and a caravan of royal supporters. His first correspondence was sent from an island in the south Pacific at the age of five. He
requested that ten boxes of "Van Dyke" Drawing Pencil No. 600s be shipped to his tent. And as a young adult he apprenticed with the Russian Tsar Nicholas’ correspondence court. Nick and
little Boddington could never agree on the perfect shade of rose for the Russian's new paper so they spent much of their time riding under the pines.
He created his first wedding invitation for a stunning duchess and her wedding on a small hillside in Udaipur, India. She later wept to find Mr. Boddington applying the silk fabric from her
wedding gown to the back of a post card. The tears were not for her destroyed gown, but for the beauty of her new stationery.
Mr. Boddington lives in an old world residence of great charm in the town of Antibes. From there he entertains his friends on a vintage Capri fishing yacht with Bombay tonics, orange
marmalade crostinis, and newspapers from the world's major cities.
And although never confirmed, it has been said that Mr. Boddington exhibits no tolerance for haggard looking correspondence.
Now since Mr. Boddington is often traveling the world in pursuit of leisure and inspiration, he maintains a studio in New York City to keep his craft humming. Above the bakeries on 36th Street in
Brooklyn, you will find a team of talented artists, designers, illustrators, production specialists and biscuit nibblers.
The team is led by Rebecca S. Ruebensaal who illustrates and designs much of the collection. She has her own story but is far too busy chasing the demands of Mr. Boddington, her two sons
and her terribly naughty pup, Lucky, to share at this time

Rookie Humans

The inspiration behind our brand
Every parent knows there is nothing more adorable than a sleeping baby. As a mom of two, I have found myself countless times silently admiring the beauty of those moments. I have taken
thousands of pictures of my babies lying in their cribs, and my crib sheets have become backdrops to so many wonderful memories.
This led me to wonder: Why aren’t crib sheets designed in a more imaginative way? In a way that looks as magical and sweet as the moment feels?
This is the inspiration behind Rookie Humans, a desire to help parents capture the magic of these fleeting moments with our tiny babes. Because next thing you know, they’ll be in a twin bed,
and if you’re anything like me, you might get a little choked up

Sweet N Swag

Sweet N Swag was born through an effort to help a friend. A close friend of mine suffered a tragedy and lost her little baby. In an effort to help, I started making hair bows and bow ties to sell
and raise money to help my friend cover her baby Porter's medical costs.
After Penny's for Porter was completed, I still had several bows left over. A friend suggested I list them on Etsy and they were a hit. Sweet N Swag was born! I thought this would be a great way
to stay home with my new baby, but still earn money to pay for student loans. I hoped to sell one bow a day to counteract student loan interest.
A few months later I was buried in orders and couldn't keep up. My friends came to the rescue. Soon four or five of us were crammed in our little spare bedroom making bows everyday. We had
a blast. We were working together having fun, and being able to schedule it around being with our young children. What was initially meant to help Porter, was providing greater financial
freedom to several young moms and allowing us to spend more time with our families.

Legacy Learning academy

Hi, I'm Ashley - devoted wife, boy mom to 4, and certified teacher. Education has always been a passion of mine, and I had the privilege of teaching junior high language arts for 5 years. I
learned so much during this time, and I could not have possibly loved my job more than I did. Enter motherhood.
When I had my son Kaden, I decided that I couldn't possibly be away from him all day long, and my husband and I decided it was best for our family if I stayed home to take care of him. As hard
as it was to leave teaching, my heart was calling me to something else. Motherhood. The early days at home with my son were quite easy, but as he started approaching 1 and then 2 , and then
we had our son Dane, I realized I needed more to keep Kaden busy and engaged. The teacher in me wanted to find educational activities for him to work on while I was taking care of his
younger brother, but I quickly found that engaging, hands-on, educational activities for toddlers are very hard to find!
I did a little (ok, a lot) of research, and I decided that I needed to create my own activities to stimulate his mind, and that is when Legacy Learning Academy came to be. I am now lucky enough
that all of my 4 sons are old enough to reap the benefits of these activities, and I can't wait for you to dig a little deeper to find some items that will enrich the life of your little learners!
Learning begins with play, and the handmade Montessori & Waldorf inspired toys from Legacy Learning academy are the perfect tools to fuel your little one's educational journey!

The Meri Meri Story
The ‘maker’ spirit that began at Meredithe’s kitchen table in Los Angeles thirty years ago, has found its way to our three-floor studio in Cheltenham, England. Everything we produce undergoes

Fun, quality, and superior design drives our team of talented designers, illustrators, and crafters to conjure up our latest products.

Pepper Pop Paper

Every card we make is peppered with a dash of wit and a sprinkle of sentiment, while the cut-out graphics pop off the paper for a one-of-a-kind design. It's the same clever handmade cards
that you love, but with a new name that reflects the spirit that we try to convey in each and every card. I consider the shop a little different from card shops out there. Only our text is printed on
each card. All shapes are cut, assembled, and backed to pop off the page and come to life.

Best Years

Unique range of knitted toys, designed by mothers and exclusive to Best Years. We specialise in knitted toys because they are both robust and tactile, perfect for babies, toddlers and young
children to play with and to cuddle.
We claim to be the first people to introduce knitted dinosaurs to the world and we now have the largest range of knitted dinosaurs available.
We love toys and how they help imaginative play, and help cement friendships. We love how children create worlds around their toys and this is why we feel that toys should be as special as the
children who play with them.
So we spend our lives searching for the best possible toys and the people who can make them. We like to work with people who share our values which is how we came to partner with both
small factories and also fair trade cooperatives in Sri Lanka and Egypt. Talented people who make the most gorgeous toys
Not only do we think that we have the cutest toys around but they are uniquely suited to the needs of young children. Knitted toys bring a tactile quality to baby toys which is great for helping
sensory development. They are also robust enough to stand up to even the most active of toddler play. And it helps that they are machine washable too!
Starting with knitted toys we have expanded in to other Eco toy ranges including natural rubber and wood
We work with small toy makers across the world to make our range of toys just for you.
